Take me down

The song "Take me down" is finally here ! Listen to it now:

 

My thoughts about it, first the meaning, I think Light me up was about life in general, feelings, people, the world, Going to Hell was about how fucked up this life is, how hard feelings are and how we were all going to die.

Now Take me down show us that we are ready to go to hell, to sell our soul to the devil. We want him to take us down. Hell and the Devil being metaphors about Hate, life, how it gets darker, worse, and the personal hell inside your head that you create for yourself, being for Taylor music, as she said plenty of times and in the song, she sold her soul to rock'n'roll and dedicate her life to it. We'll have to see where the other songs takes us.

Musically, it's brilliant, the riff is incredible and the added materials sounds amazing. We want to sing along, it's heavy, it's good, we definitly want to go to hell with the Pretty Reckless.

Taylor Momsen's official birthday project 2016

It's Taylor Momsen's birthday on July 26th, and i want you to Join my project !

I want to create a video including everything you guy send to me ! Everybody is welcome to join, and you can send me anything you want:

• - A drawing
• - A picture of you wishing her an happy birthday: written on your hand, holding a sign, photoshop it....
• - A montage, photoshop, collage, always related to Taylor and her birthday, obviously
• - If you have merch, albums, posters, a wall dedicated to her or the Pretty Reckless, or pictures from when you meet her, you could work with that
• - A video of you wishing her an happy birthday, but try not over 30 seconds, i want to be able to include everyone and i can't do that if your video is too long
• - A cover (sound only), I can include it over the video while showing the pictures, i will put your name at the begining of the video ! If you send me a cover video, it has to be 30 seconds like i said above
• - And maybe something else i didn't think of ! I will accept pretty much everything !
• - BE CREATIVE !

The rules:

• Project ends JULY 24 ! I WON'T ACCEPT ANYTHING AFTER THE DEADLINE ! The video would not be ready in time otherwise
• PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT STEAL ANYTHING ! It's not worth it, you can send me litteraly ANYTHING you want, you don't have to show your face or know how to draw
• If you really don't know how to edit or photoshop and you can't take pictures, just send me a picture of Taylor you like and your name, i will edit it for you
• DO NOT TAG TAYLOR OR SEND HER THE PICTURE BEFORE HER BDAY !
• DON'T FORGET TO INCLUDE YOUR NAME IN IT !
